That statistic is too high for this not to be changed in our society. Too many people joke about rape in our school, and it's NOT funny. These things happen on a daily basis and people, not just girls, think they'll beat the odds. You have to be careful in our world today because the second you take your eyes of your drink or allow someone to touch you with consent sexual assault can ensue and rape can follow. Stand up for yourself, have a voice, and by shedding more light on this issue you may be able to save someone. Don't let yourself be a statistic, make this issue a part of the past.

I think that this video successfully conveys a very powerful message. Lady Gaga does a phenomenal job of using her powerful position in pop culture as a platform to send out this message to fans. Many other celebrities are also behind this movement to make a change to lower this statistic. For instance, Law & Order SVU is one of my favorite shows and they use their show to display important information and real situations that people are probably not aware of. The stars from the show represent the No More movement. This movement seems to be growing in popularity, with football players behind it, but the statistics need to drop dramatically. Also, the video's style and editing was done extremely well. I appreciated the part where the victims can be doing normal things, but their mind flashes back to their horrific experience. Many people do not understand the severity of this problem.

The video speaks for the victims. Their stories might not be heard one by one but the video spoke for them. It showed millions of people who viewed the video of what is really happening inside college. Their parents thinks that they are doing fine but they won't know it because it is so hard for them to open up, to say something. They are traumatized from what happened. They didn't chose that to happen. If somebody or you're wearing some daring or sexy clothes.. It doesn't mean that they want something to happen to them. It is just because they want to feel good about their selves. Going out from their comfort zone. I just hope that college admins will help them resolve this situation. It is not only for women but also men, especially the LGBT community. And i'm so proud, happy, and etc. That lady gaga didn't do music just to be fame or earn money but also to help people from getting abused.

The video is depressing, mostly because it makes a good point. All the speculation in the world doesn't substitute the actual experience of understanding and feeling how one feels when it actually happens to them. No one asks to be objectified or used as someone's play thing. Even the biggest massochists probably wouldn't ask for this trauma. Using a well-known figure in modern society like Lady Gaga to get a message like this across is a clever strategy because it reaches people and has substance in a way no billboard or ordinary public service commericial or sign can. Putting her spotlight to good use is applaudible on Lady Gaga's part because she makes the ability to reach out to people and provide substance on the problem possible in this video. The sadness or even fear one feels after watching this is good in the fact that it raises awareness and promotes eagerness to slow or stop abuse and assault in all forms.

This video is sending a message to people that are in a dating abuse relationship and to help them over come it. This video is really sad and what makes it worst is dating abuse is happening almost everyday and people are afraid to stop it and get out of the relationship. You really don't know how the victims really feel when this is going on it makes them feel worthless like the video said. What is scary and people don't realize is that 1 out of every 5 college women experience sexual assault. Lady Gaga did a great job and happy that she is not ignoring the fact that dating abuse is a problem out their and people need to over come it.

This video is very powerful. Although this whole topic is very heartbreaking, it unfortunately happens way too often. I don't think that anyone should be put through something like this and even if they are, they should never blame themselves. They should seek help and have their friends and family be there for them to help them get through the horrific incident. The main target is unfortunately women, especially young college girls, which is very scary seeing that most of us will be in college in less than a year. The situation is very unfortunate and I hope no one has to go through this, but unfortunately, that is unrealistic. Lady-Gaga did a great job portraying this topic through her song and her lyrics were extremely powerful. People don;t know what the other person is going through until it does happen to them. People shouldn't have to worry about getting sexually assaulted just because of a certain piece of clothing they are wearing. This world is very cruel and unfair in some ways, and I hope that soon everyone is educated on this subject and that there is a drastic decrease in sexual abusive cases, hopefully one day, none.

I thought the video was really scary, sad, disturbing. I think it's important because it shows the reality of sexual assault on college campuses. and how anyone can become a victim. It shows a great sympathy to those who have been effected by sexual assault. I think it was especially scary considering the fact that we're all going to be in college next year, so the lyrics "till it happens to you" are speaking directly to me and my peers.

This video was sad because this is what really happens in reality and this video really just portrayed all the emotion behind it. And what Lady Gaga is saying that like, till that situation happens to you, you wont know how it REALLY feels, like you can just assume how it feels. The lyrics were very powerful and sends a good message. Also the actors in the video did a really good job portraying the emotion.

The clip is very touching, it gets to the point and makes the viewer feel as if it could happen to them. It also shows that it can happen to anyone band it makes the victim feel worthless but with other people anyone can get through the tough times.

I believe this video gives a partial, but good idea of the situations and feelings that victims of sexual assault need to go through during and after the initial incident. It is a very strong video with a very strong meaning. I think that it is great that a major artist is bring this into light. It's a very scary reality that those numbers are so high. The video captures a lot of emotion and shows how scary the situation is and how people want to be quite about it.

This video makes me cringe. It just makes me so upset to see how cruel some people in this world can be. Sex is supposed to be a beautiful experience and its terrible how people take that beauty away from people and make it into something disgusting. It stated how one in five women in college will be sexually assaulted this year which is such a high number. Most of us are going to college next year and it just makes me realize how conscious and careful you really have to be. You cant control other peoples actions but this is a warning to get out of any situation you feel uncomfortable about. Always stay with people and friends w=you trust and listen to your gut and own judgment. Also take a self defense class.

Being from a standpoint from someone who was once sexually harassed, and from someone who is transgender and leaving for college - This video describes some of my worst memories and some of my worst fears. Going to college, into a place where I'll be staying on campus, definitely offers this fear to the table. Many cases of rape and sexual abuse happen on a college campus. A massive portion of those people are transgendered people (lgbt + ) and women. I couldn't bring myself to watch this video upon publishing. But I think this is a topic not many people are aware of. Lady Gaga is such a talented artist. I am glad that she took it upon herself and her talent to make something that causes awareness especially when there are voices who are in the background. She helps their voice become prominent.

This video sends a very strong message on the reality of sexual assault. This video really portrays the sadness and effects of a victim of sexual assault. It does a good job at showing how a victim feels right after it happens and after, when they have the support they need to get through it with friends and family. It is so eye opening that this happens so much in college and people always just assume it will never happen to them and it can. We will all be in college next year and we need to be careful and understand how to best protect ourselves from this happening.

The video made me feel really choked up because actually being shown what happens on college campuses visually is disturbing and frightening. It scares me that those events actually happen to innocent people who didn't ask for it by any means. I think there should be more awareness and more ways to prevent these traumatic events from happening. This video was very moving and is extremely educating to the viewer as it demonstrates the affects of dating abuse and sexual assault. I think its great when artists and other famous and praised individuals demonstrate issues that exist in our present day way of life. I feel very mad at how horrific events such as the ones shown in the video can occur. I also feel very sad for the victims and I think its important that they understand that they're not alone and that there are people and organizations that help people involved in these types of situations.

I really liked the message that went past awareness of sexual assault. It dove deeper than just "this is awful", and rather explored the emotions that victims may or may not feel. I also thought that the different scenarios made it more powerful as well. It was very touching and emotional to watch. There were parts that really made you want to look away. It's unfortunate that a video like this needs to be made, but I'm happy that it was executed in such a way. I think that male abuse was under-represented in the video, however, it is less common so therefore it reached a larger audience.

I believe that this video is not only an accurate depiction of the horrors of sexual assault, but also serves as encouragement for all of us to do something about it. It is motivating to see a popular artist of the modern world help to address a topic that cannot be ignored due to the incredibly high rate of occurrence. Although violence and mistreatment will always continue to thrive on our planet, we have an obligation to minimize the number of people that are affected or hurt, because the world can't go on like this.

This video did such a great job making you feel how sexual assault can cause a persons view on themselves and everyone else around them. Its so sad that many of these people really feel so ashamed about what had happened and some dont speak up about it. No one should be put in that position but sadly there are so many sick people. Its very scary that you cant trust people easily , you always have to be aware and careful what decisions you make especially when alcohol is involved. The video was extremely powerful, to say the least. I think the video did a really great job at demonstrating all three different kinds of dating abuse, even though it can be a hard thing to spot, and talk about. I liked, too, that it didn't just warn against dating abuse, but it also showed people recovering from it. It's so easy to just say "don't get abused," and it's another completely to show people who may be watching that video/in those positions that they can do something about it, and heal with time and support from others. I understand that dating abuse primarily happens to women, but I would've liked to have seen one example of a man being abused by a girlfriend, because I think there's a stigma that men can't be abused, and that needs to be done away with. I did, however, like Lady Gaga's involvement in the project because her celebrity status takes the video to another level, and gets it more attention/out to a more widespread audience.

This video sends many powerful messages. It shows us how easily a situation can take a turn for the worse. It also shows that even though you may feel worthless at first you're not and you are strong enough to overcome those horrible feelings. Watching this video not only made me sad but it scared me. In all the different scenes everyone was having a good time not expecting anything bad to come. It all happened so fast and it made me realize that you always have to be careful and watch your surroundings. It also taught me that if I am alone with someone I should truly know and trust them because you never know what could happen. I feel this video can have a very positive affect on anyone that watches it.

I'm speechless after watching this video. I think it conveys such a powerful message in a really effective way. The warning at the beginning was also really powerful- I think by warning viewers that it was graphic, but reality really put things into perspective before any of the video was even shown. Although this video showed how the victims were abused, I really like how it also showed how their lives were changed afterwards. In school, we're taught about abuse and how to prevent and what to do if it's happening to you or someone you care about, but we're never really taught what happens after. It's obviously assumed that you're changed after, but I think this video demonstrates really nicely how your life is different and your outlook on life completely shifts. I know I have never really learned about what victims do after getting away and they change emotionally. I think a really great demonstration of this in the video is the two roommates at the party. When we first see them they are having a great time and laughing, but after they were sexually assaulted, they would barely talk to each other and one of them ended up moving out. I also think it's really great that Lady Gaga had a part in this video. Overall, Lady Gaga is great at standing up for what she believes and is always endorsing important issues. I think her involvement in this definitely got this video out to the public more and showed that everyone is effect by this.

This music video is very powerful. It's terrible that things like this is happening. It's even worse knowing that most people don't report the assault to the police or someone that they know/trust. Lady gaga has always spoken publicly about issues like this. I wish that more celebrities would encourage their fans to do the right thing if this has ever happened to themselves or someone they know. Listening to the lyrics and watching the video definitely impacted me. At some point in the video there is writing on people's arm saying "Believe me" & "Listen you will hear me" is very heartbreaking. because there are people out there that are too scared of not being taken seriously. Also at the end of the video there is the National Sexual Assault Hotline, I think that is amazing that they are people out there that will listen to them and find a way to help.

After watching this video, it's clear to me that it sends a powerful message that dating abuse can happen anywhere and to anyone. Not everyone is able to speak up and reach out for help afterwards, but videos like this help spread awareness. It also shows how people change after being sexually assaulted and gives the viewer an insight of what happens to them and how they completely shut down. It encourages people to help those in need and to get the statistic lower in both male and female cases.

This video is very powerful. After viewing this video i have to say that this was really an eye opener. This video made it very clear for me to understand the true meaning of dating abuse. In this video you can see that dating abuse happens many different ways. As i watched the video i tried to put myself in their shoes. IF i was to be in a situation like those girls im not to sure what i will do because many people can say they will handle it one way then when the time comes they will not know what to do. This video also makes it very clean that you will never really know how a person feels after a situation unless the situation is or was done to you. The video also shows how nobody should be judged by anyone else if you don't know their live story and the background of a person. The words on the girls arms are very powerful too because it gives us an insight into how the girls were feeling on the inside even though they didn't open up to anyone until the end.

I'm in awe watching this video, I watched it about three times. It's crazy how real dating abuse is. This video really portrays the abuse that happens every single day. Sexual assault is real and it happens to women, and it happens to men. I hate the social belief that men can't be raped or abused. This is wrong and is not a message that society should be portraying. I love how Lady Gaga had a part in standing up for her beliefs. I will always stand for causes like these especially because some people won't. Colleges cover up these assaults all the time to protect their athletes, their names, and selfishly to protect a statistic. Colleges are terrified of having a large statistic based on rape or sexual assault. This needs to change, and I think PSA's like this one is a great start.

It's actually terrifying to think someone in their right mind would do such a horrible thing to another person. Although the video was disturbing, I think it will impact many young people's lives. Since lady Gaga has such a high social status i think this song is perfect because it is bringing awareness to abuse. Abuse is something that most people dont realize is there unless you are going through it and even then most people brush it off. i like how the video is in black and white and for me it accentuates the messages and hightens my emotions. It also showes how both MALE AND FEMALE are affect through abuse.

Each situation was different and done to girls who were least expecting it. The video showed the shame that each girl felt for something that was beyond their control. Towards the end it shows each person talking about it with others and taking a stand to get help and they all seem to have a sense of relief on their face.

I think this is beautiful not only is lady gaga making a living through her voice she's using it to spread awareness to such a touchy subject . People are scared to rise there voice and lady gaga isn't I feel as if she nailed this . This is my first time ever seeing this music video ... You would think something with such a powerful message would be everywhere on social media .. thats the problem that's why 1-5 are going through this . i think this video explains well that you can't have empathy for a victim of sexual assault as you do not and will not know how it feels and what its like until it happens to you. Also that everyone thinks something like this would ever happen to them.

I think this video is very upsetting the fact that people know that this goes on and sometimes are afraid to say something. And in this video Lady Gaga is basically telling people to speak up and not be afraid to say something. The faster we do something about this the faster and the easier this problem will diminish.

I think the video was unbelievably scary and terrifying. I can't believe the girl took the drink from a guy they just met or that's there friend. I'm assuming the drug didn't work for one of the girls all that well as the guy thought. I feel bad for the girl that go raped and couldn't remember anything that day.
